On Friday night, members of our Kare Plan team had the honour of attending the prestigious Workplace Excellence Awards, where we were proud finalists in two key categories — Diversity & Inclusion and Mental Health & Wellbeing.

Being recognised in these categories is more than just a moment of celebration; it’s a reflection of the culture we’ve worked so hard to build together. At Kare Plan, we believe that a supportive and inclusive workplace is the foundation of a successful team — and ultimately, better care for our clients.

Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

Our team is made up of people from all walks of life — from different countries, cultures, languages, and backgrounds. We’re proud to have built a diverse workforce where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and heard. From recruiting refugees to supporting staff through visa sponsorships and promoting equal opportunities for all, diversity isn’t just a policy at Kare Plan — it’s who we are.

Being named a finalist in the Diversity & Inclusion category is a testament to the incredible people who make Kare Plan what it is — a place where differences are embraced, and every voice matters.

Prioritising Mental Health & Wellbeing

We also know that a healthy workplace is one where mental health and wellbeing are prioritised. The nature of care work can be demanding, so we’re committed to supporting our team not only professionally, but personally. Through regular check-ins, recognition initiatives like Carer of the Month, team-building activities, and access to mental health resources, we aim to create a work environment where people feel supported, seen, and cared for.

Being a finalist in the Mental Health & Wellbeing category means a lot to us — because it shows that our efforts to care for our carers are making a difference.

I’ve checked out a few live casinos available in Ireland recently, and honestly, there’s a good mix of options in 2025. What stands out to me is how much attention is paid to security and fairness nowadays, which gives peace of mind. The game libraries have really expanded too — thousands of titles including live dealers. Bonuses can be tempting, but I always read the terms to avoid surprises with wagering and max withdrawals. Also, payment methods are quite flexible now, including crypto in some places, which I appreciate. So yeah, it’s about finding a balance between fun games and reliable service.
